Meet Henry
I’m Henry – a photographer at heart, an adventurer by nature, and never without my camera. Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve documented every family trip, from people and wildlife to breathtaking landscapes. Looking back, it was clear this passion was meant to be a lifelong companion.
My style? Natural, emotional, and cinematic. I want my couples to feel, when looking at their photos, as if they’re watching a movie about their own love story – full of real feelings, unique locations, and an atmosphere you can truly feel. This love for cinematic storytelling is also why I created my photo book LIKE A MOVIE.
Outside of photography, I’m an adventurer at heart. Climbing mountains, traveling the world in my camper, taking on new challenges – the same curiosity and energy shape how I approach every shoot. Photography, for me, is more than capturing images; it’s about catching looks, emotions, and fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My goal is to preserve your love so that, years from now, you feel exactly what you felt that day. Whether celebrating big or keeping it intimate – let’s create memories that feel like your own film.

More than okay — it is the norm. Most of my couples feel the same way, and that is perfectly natural. My approach is gentle and intuitive. I guide you with calm, simple direction so that you feel at ease within minutes. The result is imagery that feels authentic, not posed. You will look like yourselves — just beautifully so.
According to the contract, you will receive a minimum of 500–800 carefully selected images, though in most cases it’s actually twice as many. A full wedding day typically produces this selection, depending on the coverage hours and the flow of your day. Every image is individually refined.
Absolutely. I am based in Europe (Germany) and regularly travel for weddings across the continent and beyond. Destination coverage is seamlessly integrated into your collection proposal.
All my destination packages cover travel. Flights, hotels, rental cars, and transportation — it’s all included in your package. You won’t need to worry about organizing anything or dealing with logistics.
Your complete gallery will be delivered within four to eight weeks following your wedding day. This timeframe allows for the thoughtful, meticulous editing process that defines the Flaming Weddings aesthetic. A curated preview of selected images will be provided within 24 hours.
Yes, absolutely, but in a collaborative way. I’m not a wedding planner, however I do support you with everything photography-related: location inspiration, timelines, lighting, permits (if needed), and finding places that truly match your vibe. For elopements and weddings, I provide detailed questionnaires and a shared Pinterest board so we can shape the mood together and stay aligned from the very beginning. Think of it this way: I guide you, support you, and help shape the overall experience, you’re never doing it alone. At the same time, I don’t take on the full planning role (like building your entire wedding timeline or coordinating the ceremony).
Once your inquiry arrives, I will respond within 48 hours with a personal message. If there is a connection, we will schedule a relaxed video call — no pressure, no sales pitch. It is simply a conversation to see if we are the right fit for your celebration.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t worry, we’ll stay in touch and find the best solution together. Sometimes, the mood of a cloudy or rainy day can even add a unique vibe to your photos. If needed, we can also look for an alternative date that works for you.
Yes, that’s possible! You can book a second photographer through me to join your shoot.
If, against all odds, I were seriously ill and unable to photograph your wedding myself, I have a reliable network of professional photographers I can call on in an emergency. In such a case, I will ensure that someone with a similar style and experience steps in and I will coordinate everything with you. Your wedding is extremely important to me, and I will do everything to make sure it is still captured beautifully.
